I think collage is really honest. We connect to it in a lot of ways because it’s inherently disconnected pieces that are all thrown– or even organized together to attempt to create some cohesion and meaning.

These are some ornaments I made out of sculpy about 4 winters ago. Beth and I did not have a background, so we threw together a Winter Wonderland using cotton balls and highlighters.

ON TRYING TO CONNECT HIS ART TO THIS MONTH’S THEME
I’m stumped for this first week. I guess I’ve never really done “art” due to the fact that I mainly take photos of life as it happens. Everything I do as art has always revolved around my friends and the places we find ourselves in… the things we do.
I don’t have fragments or pieces of art. I just have occurrences.
