“I have little left in myself — I must have you. The world may laugh — may call me absurd, selfish — but it does not signify. My very soul demands you: it will be satisfied, or it will take deadly vengeance on its frame.”

his frantic fingers run all over me
my belly bubbles
my teeth shake
the heat of his hands
melt my mouth
all I want is to burn
and burn
and never let him out

green grass smothers fallen leaves
the willow smiles as the daisies weep
summer sun is meant to be sweet
yet cities grow and growl
roots rise and limbs wither
broken bottle screams sink into honey thick dreams
and the beginning crashes into the middle

“And once the storm is over, you won’t remember how you made it through, how you managed to survive. You won’t even be sure, whether the storm is really over. But one thing is certain. When you come out of the storm, you won’t be the same person who walked in. That’s what this storm’s all about.”

My goodness relents
to bath in muddy waters.
for a moment
unwatched
I break
embracing my own corruption
There is no forgiveness
only the bliss
of truth

I can’t really put it into words.. but I like that there are so many recognizable pieces within it. .. Comforting and creepy at the same time. The pelvis- shape makes me think of birth and femininity … but the stark contrast between black and white and the sort of sharp but symmetrical corners give it an ominous feeling. Some elements are strong and warm, others seem tentative and reserved. It kind of looks the way I feel.
