 In life, the external form does not  indicate the internal form. Appearances are almost always deceptive. But in art, appearance is all that exists. The internal and the external are one in the same. These characters are deformed by most standards, but they still have an uplifting quality. Their quirky little faces with lopsided eyeballs and large swirly noses are sweet, genuine reflections of what people really are: a complex marriage of  flaws and strengths that reflects a familiar sort of beauty.

More about Meaghan and Angie

We are best friends! And partners (in business, not in oral pleasure)

Meaghan works for the Australian Consulate (where she met Thor, but will not allow Angie to post a photo) and Angie works at a Community College as a Writing Tutor and Student Instructor. She doesn’t understand that this is a sort of boring fact and frequently discusses argument structure at parties…. effectively scaring away all the interesting people.

We love these things!

Everything’s Blue in this World

Beauty is mysterious;

finding mere pieces of Her is all we can ever hope to do.

In an effort to understand how truth and beauty are created, we regularly break down large perplexing works into more manageable pieces.A novel is merely a group of chapters, which is a group of paragraphs, which is a collection of sentences, etc. All interesting subjects become the victims of criticism, the Self included.

The artist’s perception of the world cannot be separated from her perception of self. Ultimately, she is another mystery  worthy of dissection and interpretation.One whose smaller parts offer glimmers of truth that can be seen, but never truly captured.
